I was amused when I saw the news. Wordpress Version 2.8.3 is out and is also a security release.
I wonder how vulnerable the holes in the past versions have been cos upgrading my blog every 2 weeks is so not cool. In as much as I’ve found a way of doing it in 30 mins flat, it still doesn’t make me comfortable as the plug-ins on my blog might be rendered not compatible with the new version.
Anyway, I’m off to upgrade mine again. You can get a copy of Wordpress Version 2.8.3 here.

I'm not sure what to think of the WordPress security patch (release). I'm fairly new to WordPress, but I do have years of IT experience. I know when you install new versions and patches that not everything always works as planned (or tested) or things (plug-ins in this case)that worked before may not work the same (or at all) now. I hope this isn't the case here.
@Kelly: That's why it's always good to make sure all the necessary plug-ins used on your blog are compatible with the new version before upgrading.
