As the month of January comes to an end, I've taken another step towards making StrictlyOnlineBiz more accessible thus I've made it mobile using the Wordpress Mobile Pack plug-in.
Aside from providing a mobile theme for your wordpress blog, it also features the following
- Support for mobile widgets
- Mobile traffic analytics via Percent Mobile.
- Ability to list your site @ Mpexo, an online directory of mobile sites built using the WordPress Mobile Pack.
- Four different mobile themes (Color based)
- Wordpress Admin Mobile Interface with limited functions as shown below

It’s compatible with most plug-ins though it conflicts with cache plug-ins such as Wp Super Cache and W3 Total Cache. Excluding the list of mobile user agents from caching in the configuration page of these two plug-ins fixes the issue without stress
.
Works well with Commentluv, KeywordLuv and Wp Spam Free so you can be rest assured your comments will always get through to me and you’ll be getting your dofollow links.
Do have a lovely 31st of January and may the month of February bring better things.

WP Super Cache support wp-mobile-edition out of the box if you want to try that, although get the development version of my plugin as it will grab the list of mobile user agents from the other plugin automatically.

Thanks for the recommendation. If memory serves me right, I think I tried Wordpress Mobile Edition some time back but didn't like it. I can't really remember why
.
Anyway due to using a CDN for my images etc, I switched cache plug-in to W3 Total Cache. It's quite scary to configure but it sure did speed things up around here
Have a fabulous week.
I really like the design of the mobile themes included in this plugin, but almost all of my sites are running wp-super-cache. Do you know of any other caching plugins that are compatible?
I really don't know of any compatible cache plug-in but a cache plug-in wouldn't really be necessary as the files generated by the mobile theme are quite bandwidth friendly and load fast using a GPRS connection and Opera Mini in my case
The point of a caching plugin is to cache stuff on the server so it doesn't have to do the same work serving that page again!

I was referring to the bandwidth saving benefits if Gzip is enabled via the cache plug-in. I TOTALLY forgot that the actual function was to reduce the strain on the servers. Thanks for the reminder
