How To Get A Verified Paypal Account In Nigeria
NOTE: Should in case you are interested in getting a Payoneer Mastercard FREE OF CHARGE, do please follow the step by step guide @ How To Order Payoneer MasterCard From LimeExchange.
Let it be known that it’s illegal as a Nigerian, to own a Verified PayPal account but if you insist on getting one, by all means keep reading this post.
I have a Verified PayPal account BUT so far I haven’t summoned the courage to use it @ all . Find out why @ this blog post; Which Is Better? PayPal or 2CheckOut.
I got my PayPal Business Account verified by Henry Omenogor in almost a month after payment of 6,000 Naira. The process was quite simple.
- You google for an address in a PayPal accepted country e.g google “Benin Republic address”. On the results page, find a website that has a Benin Republic address and copy the address.
- Go to Paypal and sign up for a Verified Business Account using a modified* version of the Benin Republic address you got from Google. Modified* means change the house number or street address.
- In the end, you’ll be asked to verify your account using a Credit or Debit Card preferably the PayPal Plus Card (PPC). Here’s where the services of Henry Omenogor comes it.
- You place a call to either of the following numbers and request details of paying for a PayPal Plus Card. The numbers are Ayo 07025825797; Yemi 07025825796 and Henry: 08027246021.
- NOTE: Do not make the mistake of ordering the book on that page that goes by the title, Revealed!! How To Own & Verify Your PayPal Even If Your Country Is Not Listed. It’s crap! After reading it, you will still need to order the PPC from them. Make this mistake and you’ll definitely end up paying more than 6,000 Naira for a Verified PayPal Account.
- Once you’ve made payment and it has been verified by Henry’s staff, you will need to wait a minimum of 2 weeks to get the number of card in your email.
- When the number arrives, log on to your previously created Unverified PayPal account and fill in the details of the card for verification to take place.
- A 4 pin code, if I remember clearly well, will be sent to the owner of the PayPal Plus Card (Henry Omenogor). This number will be forwarded to your email account and using it on your Unverified Paypal account makes it Verified and ready for unlimited transactions.
Like I said before, I DON’T endorse getting a PayPal account if you ain’t on the list of approved countries. They can be quite nasty.
At a forum someone once said :
Paypal has caused the downfall of thousands of online businesses and destroyed countless people’s reputations.
They freeze peoples accounts for no apparent reason and it’s estimated less than 10% of people EVER get their money back!
PayPal does this to make interest off the money in the frozen account. Search the internet and read it for your self!
I couldn’t agree less with him. It’s the sad truth so as we say over here in Nigeria; “Shine Your Eyes Well Well” before dining with PayPal.
So there you have it. A QUICK and ILLEGAL way of getting a Verified Paypal Account in Nigeria.
DISCLAIMER: StrictlyOnlineBiz is in no way affiliated to Henry Omenogor and any of his sites. All transactions with him @ at your own risk!
The above said, I’ve bought two of his products without any problems EXCEPT for the extra 2 weeks delay in getting my PayPal Plus Card.

I love the way you presented this. I totally agree with you that it is quite a lot of headache and heartache dining with PayPal. I’ve got some fund hanging in a PayPal account that I was using. I didn’t opened an illegal account though, I was using the account of a friend. Eventually, the account was frozen because of my IP address. I guess PayPal is just a necessary evil. Have you heard of ALERTPAY? It is open to Nigerians only that it is not as popular as PayPal. You can get more information about it at my site. Nice post.
@NaijaEcash: I researched Alert Pay months ago when I was looking for a payment processor but then I decided to settle with 2 CheckOut. I can’t remember clearly well why I decided to burst AlertPay. At least with 2CheckOut I can process payment from PayPal users. Can AlertPay do that as well?
why is it all you scammer nigerians are always trying to scam people? you know why you cannot have a paypal verfied account – because PayPal knows that all the scammers and fraud people are from NIGERIA.
You might want to read posts such as Countries from where internet fraud originates and some tips to counter it and Online Fraud Stats before opening your mouth to say all the scammers and fraud people are from NIGERIA. DICKHEAD!
P.S: If you cared to have read this post well, you would have also noticed I said I DON’T ENDORSE it cos we are not allowed to have accounts. To round this up, look around the net, Nigerians are not the only people not accepted by Paypal that are trying to get a paypal account.
P.P.S: It was quite cowardly of you to use Gmail. You should have used your real email address.
its important to be be guided in talking about people how much more talk about a nation. That some people are swindling others those not make everybody swindlers.Be guided
…and to think that this dude is from India.
.-= David Osajie hopes you will read…Free Payoneer Mastercard From 2checkout =-.
Guy I’m lost. What exactly do you mean? Which dude are you referring to?
I was actually referring to the Jacko guy who in his opinion thinks all Nigerians are scammers.
LOL. I actually thought you were referring to me and that had me wondering whether my name wasn’t Nigerian enough or if my About Me page was invisible
It’s funny you said it’s illegal and yet are doing it.
The only reason why I’m putting it up is to put folks, who make a living off verifying paypal, out of business. Besides it’s good for traffic
Chuks’ the truth is that no one can really say he or she is doing something usefull online that person has no PayPal account. From making payment, receiving payment or making subscriptions you can’t just survive without it. On the topic, which do i prefer? Ordinarily i should pick 2checkout since PayPal does not accept Nigeria. But after my last experience with 2checkout, i will not touch them with a 6 foot pool. I made payment of $250 and everything went well and i was so happy it work since i was just trying out my new Mastercard i got from Zenith Bank.
@4 hrs later i still have not received what i paid for. I now had to write to the website’s support who then told me that they were instructed by 2checkout not to honour my order.
I got very angry and wrote to 2checkout. I was told they could not process it because i am using the card from a high risk region and so flag as fraud. Nothing can be so annoying. It wasn’t really a problem until what i am about to tell you.
I then asked for a refund and was told they money has been refunded and should credit my MasterCard within a 48 hrs. It took one month before that money was returned to my card and by now, i have wasted time and lost a very valuable client. So my take here is, rather than go through travails, if you can not get your own PayPal account, use trusted people who have one to make your payment and save yourself the agony.
Please do know that I ordered for my 2CO account with Zenith’s Websurfer. The 1 month wait for your refund was caused by Zenith not 2CO as when I had the same issue with Hostgator, I contacted Zenith Bank and they told me that was the way the cards were configured. All refunds will appear in your account after 30 days.
What I’ve been doing ever since is to contact any merchant I want to buy from, with scanned copies of my international passport and mastercard. Once they give me the go ahead, I place my order and it’s never rejected
The fool is a real d***head.
I know more Indian, Pakistani and Russian internet scammers than i know my A,B,C,D.
Allow the guy bros. Him no know say scammers wey strong pass Nigerians dey.
So much has been said about paypal, there are countless others that are available online, I personally like libertyreserve, though they are not into thing like paypal but the certainly are speedy and some online shops and merchant are already accpting them as the basic medium for e-currency.
No mind the Jacko guy, he is simply…ignorant of the people of Nigeria!
May God help them. Meanwhile guys, i have an idea to start up a real Nigerian paypal alternative. I have a complete mental picture of all that should be involved. Unlink what we currently have, will be free for all whether personal or business accounts.
I will include several methods of funding it. If you are interested and with the financial ability, contact me and lets talk. Someone has to do. No more whinning!
@ Emmanuel Ekanem, all the best with this project, you can be sure there is a ready market for this!
Most of us are just tired of Paypal but please do not become something like fastecash that commission or charges are becoming too much and also very high!
i really wonder why people still kill themselves with PayPal…i did too way back..but now i don’t see the need…
first of all ,like you said..
1.it is illegal….
2.having a bank account does not bring in money,so having a PayPal account does not mean you will make money online
3.you may lose money after you use it to do business
4.there are other options…
i don’t bother myself with PayPal anymore…no use..a time will soon come when they will need us…i bet it…
if i were paypal i’d take stiffer precautionary measures against Nigerians.despicable deeds have done over the internet by our citizens. Now i cant make the tiniest transaction online without sweating my ass off. pls i’d like to know about any reasonable possibility of owning a paypal account in nigeria
humm all said and done, continuous research and learning can make you move mountain, i want to say clearly here that funding and cashing out paypal is a mountain in front of many citizens of unwanted countries by paypal, but I want to tell you that “pickin wey say hin mother no go sleep hin self no go sleep” anyway we in our firm have gone a bit step forward to checkmate paypal and we have the privilege to discuss with anybody free of charge how you can get paid by your client via paypal and cashing out the money here in Nigeria, you can chat with us on oshiboi@yahoo.com and we will be glad to help you.
P.S If you want to make it BIG in online business, affiliate, servie rendering, or sourcing agent, you can do without paypal.
P.P.S. fraudulent activity is not the only criteria for unwanted countries list of paypal, there are many things involved.
You dont need paypal to make money online in Nigeria. I have make and still making money online with my info products and internet services with Nigerians paying directly into my bank accounts. Just get yourself real products/services targeted at Nigerians and stop wasting your money, energy on paypal shits…
I dont even have time for those useless affiliates out there..the only cheque i do collect and love collecting is my Adsense..others should just go to hell.
Once Nigerians can trust you, then they will pay to your bank accounts..just make sure you dont disapoint them and they will keep buying more from you…thats’s my secret. Check out my works to confirm these…..
I’ve stopped by your blog on occasion but didn’t leave a comment ’cause the comment form took forever to load (Another reason why I ain’t down with Blogger blogs). You sure do are a testimony to the fact that there’s money to be made without PayPal.
My only beef with nigerian marketers is that most of them sell things they’ve NEVER tried in their lives.
@ Oboneblog
you do have a point there. There is so much craze for this paypal but i understand. The thing is, you will one way or the other finding yourself, needing to use paypal whether you like it or not.
You see, everyone can not do adsense. And even if you want to do adsense, it is nice to have a multiple stream, that way, you will end up needing to either receive money or make payment with paypal.
I dont have any paypal account yet, I am steal waiting for them to come to Nigeria before I have a valued account with them. I wanted to ask my sister in US to open one for me sometime ago, but she will not have the time to do all the transaction for me, when I need to payment or send receipt.
I am using my brother account and he is doing all the transaction for me.
you do have a point there. There is so much craze for this paypal but i understand. Thanks for the article. I liked reading it
pls send me info abt “ads” and how it works, thank you.
What do you mean by “ads”? I’m lost
.
i mean google adsence, thank!
Adsense is just a program google offers and pay web masters for publishing ads on their website.
i want to open a clickbank acct, i have a brother in uk that want to help me but do i use his name, address as well as email? if i use my friends address in uk can i still use my email address for the clickbank form?
U can use his name and address as well as email though you can also use your own email so you’ll be getting the clickbank alerts.
Paypal has accepted Kenya to be a receive only country, maybe one day Nigeria would be accepted as white-listed country but for now we would always find a way around any problem…
Are you serious? This one na recent development abi na wetin? That’s nice sha. Make we see whether Naija go enter the list soon or not
After reading your post I realised that you’re doing the post because you have not summoned the courage to use the account. Now let me tell you that I’ve such a paypal account open for free but had to pay N1,500 for the credit card to verify the account. For over 2 yrs I thought I had something useful. Please note, Benin was also used.
Just about 2 months ago I had the opportunity to use it when I won a blogging contest and needed to recieve the prize money through paypal. I gladly sent the paypal email. But guess what happened. The guy sent me an email that paypal refused to accept that email address because the country involved can not receive money with their accounts! It was then I know it was useless!
Please let me just add that because I truly wanted the money I decided to go for another service. So I paid N6000 to another guy boasting of doing wonders with paypal. Well, he actually opened the account, I sent the email address and the prize money was paid in. But guess what again? I decided to use the money in buying something online and I got a shocker as paypal placed limits on the account and asked for so many things before removing the limits. I quickly contacted the guy who had already boasted that if limits were placed on the account he will remove them without any qualms.
But you know what he said, that because paypal was asking for a social security number there was nothing he can do. So I have lost that account with my $100 there and of course N6000 I paid to open the account. Not much money right? But as a business man any kobo I throw is pain to me. Let we say in nigeria “bust those services” they are fake! Yes, I know Henry Omenogor is a respected online marketer in the country but you know they put the whole risk on you. Better go for other alternatives. I know one day paypal will come begging nigerians to join, seriously
$100 ain’t small money @ all so you’ve got every right to be pissed. Many Nigerian internet marketers lay claim to after-sale support which is eventually non-existent immediately money has exchanged hands. A lot of them rarely even honor their refund claims so when I’m buying a Nigerian marketer’s goods/services, I always put my mind off getting a refund later on down the line.
Henry Omenogor is well respected but he lost part of that respect when he staunchly promoted content scrapping by lazy ass bloggers
.
Thanks for this contribution man. I’ve resolved NEVER to use my PayPal account for anything! It ain’t beans to win a contest and then lose the money. The thing dey vex person BAD!
This One Is really very very helpful post.Is this applicable to all the paypal banned countries?
Yes it is.
I totally agree with @NaijaEcash..It is really very difficult now drawing money from PayPal…specially now in India after the Government has come up with more ‘to-do lists’ before you can actually draw money from your PayPal account.
gtbank offers mastercard to itz customer, please can it be used for online biz like affliate and the rest.also is the websurfer mastercard offered by zenith widely accepted.thanx
The mastercard offered to all GTB customers has not be deployed for making online payments worldwide. It’s limited to mainly Nigerian sites. The websurfer is widely accepted and if you ever run into problem you simply contact customer service and they will handle it quickly
I tried downloading and filling the 2 checkout form but the form looks confusing. so i ‘ld like a referral as to how to go about it.
I’m kinda confused. What does the 2checkout form have to do with Paypal? What exactly are you trying to do?
Hi i read your post have registed for an Alertpay account. I have verified my account but i have not been able to add my bank account cause nigeria is not on the list am lost.
Unfortunately I don’t know a thing about Alertpay.

its sad that paypal doesnot accept us but stop beefing them, you know they are the bigest payment processors online currently and the black truth is that if you are doing any business that is not YOUR OWN PRODUCT, your chances of surviving is Invincible
You can contact Paypal customer care regarding this and can discuss with them about it. You can call them on the customer care number given on website.
I love your sagacity. But are based in Abuja? I would like to get in torch with you. My email is kenyetak7@gmail.com. my mobile is 08061261688
