It’s been one hell of week as I had to make a few trips around town as I sought to buy a laptop for my sibling who had a budget of N98,000 ($650). I succeeded in getting a Dell Vostro A840 for $15 less ;) . If he didn’t have a certain dislike for Acer, he would have saved even more with the Acer EMachine E725 which had better features for N88,000 ($580).

At the same time I struggled to optimize the SEO tags across my blogs (this one and Patchwork Of Tips). Now that I’ve finally gotten that out of the way, I can’t wait to see if my search engine rankings improve or not ;)

I acquired more used paperbacks to keep me company when the power goes out as is a common occurrence here in Nigeria. James Hadley Chase (Come Easy Go Easy and The Whiff Of Money: Mark Girland).

As you can imagine I didn’t have much time to go through my feed reader but @ least I’ve got a few interesting posts to share.

For all those who have been requesting tutorials on Online Forex Trading, which by the way I have a phobia for, you will probably be interested in reading Ajith Prasad’s Make Money Online Via Forex Trading For Beginners and Online Forex Trading For As Low As $2.50 Investment.

Mz. Eb from Surveyosity dropped in to leave a comment on one of my posts and boy am I glad she did. She’s one of those survey takers who keeps records of her earnings from surveys and kinda knows which companies work and which don’t. Online Survey Takers should pay her a visit @ Surveyosity and Get Paid To Fart ;o.

Finally, here’s  a follow up to Tremendous News’ rant, 5 Signs you might be a Social Media Douche Bag:  The 5 Signs You’re Talking To A Social Media Douchebag.

Have a great weekend.

  3. StrictlyOnlineBiz’s Top Blog Posts Of The Week 13 Last week was such a bore and I was so uninspired to go through my FeedDemon. My brothers were into James Hadley Chase when we were growing up. I also remember a rumour going round back then that Hadley Chase was Igbo. The rumour was that his real name was ‘James Adili Chieze’.

    Go figure :-)

I read Ajith’s post about forex some time ago. It’s something I’m semi-curious about, but I have a bucketful of curiosities and not enough of me to go round, so I’m happy to leave that one by the wayside this lifetime.

    (p.s.: thanks for the mention).

    Have a good weekend.

Yep, I’m serious :-) I couldn’t make that up if you paid me (ok, maybe if you paid me reeeally well, but you’d have to queue up behind Obama ‘cos the deadline’s looming for the Valentine’s poem he wants me to pen for his boo).

  5. In response to the forex mention in the previous comment.. forex is the best type of investment. It is unlike stocks or real estate. You can make a lot of money in a matter of an hours or even minutes.
