I’m gradually getting bored of sitting home doing nothing apart from working on my laptop. A part of me wishes the NYSC thing should just come so I can join the legion of the employed once again though I would be earning half my previous paycheck all in the name of "serving my country" for one year.

As the month of January comes to an end, here are this week’s top blog posts.

You could make money online selling domain names and flipping websites and Michelle Adams et Andrei share a few tips of their own.

I’m going to have a look at that Blogger article. I’m honestly surprised that there are so many people who have blogger blogs who blog about making money. You’d think if they were making so much money they would have enough to host their own blog. At least it would make them look more credible in the eyes of the reader.

    • That has always been my thoughts on the matter. Why use free hosting to promote your product if you are making millions of dollars from it ;)

Quite a lot of Nigerians use blogspot to sell and I NEVER take a second look @ what they have to sell but I don’t know how many Westerners/Europeans do so.

I dislike even commenting on those blogs. Something about them puts me off and I only comment on them when Blogger blogger comments on mine. I’ve even done a post on the matter.

Still, everyone is different and I suppose it’s OK to want to blog on one, I just don’e understand, apart from it being free, why you would want to.

    • Apart from being free, some SEO freaks claim that blogspot blogs get ranked faster and higher than other free or self-hosted blogs. I really don’t know how true that is.

I only comment on blogger blogs when I need feedback on a particular post or if the blogger is an acquaintance. For bloggers who leave comments on my blog, I also try to comment on their blogger blogs but once I face the slighest hitch, I browse away from their blogs.

P.S: I totally forgot. I’ve been meaning to tell you this. When next you comment on my blog, feel free to ignore the comment policy and use any keyword of your choice. Thanks for taking time to always follow up on your comments etc.

Opps, I didn’t even notice I was using them as the info is all filled automatically on most blogs I visit so I didn’t even notice I was using Sire of Wassup.

I’m not all into keywords that much so I’ll just leave it as it is. Thanks for the offer though :)

As to SEO of Blogger, it’s quite possible that Google gives them preference as isn’t it Google that owns them?
