Tweet Old Posts & Blog Posts of The Week 19

Apologies to everybody who tried to access my blog using Internet Explorer but got an error message. This was caused by the bookmarking plug-in to the left of this post. I wasn’t aware of the problem until I carried out one of my routine browsers tests yesternight.

From my end, everything seems to be working fine now across Opera 10.60, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.6, Safari 4 and Google Chrome 4.0 ;-) .

Thanks to Mani Viswanathan, I discovered a plug-in that I’ve been searching for all my blogging life. Tweet Old Post is a wordpress plug-in that enables you promote your old posts on Twitter without ever lifting a finger. I personally have it configured to tweet my old posts once every hour. I’ll be monitoring to see if it does any good in increasing my twitter traffic ;-) .

Udegbunam, Wow.. I never even thought of doing an automated tweet of old posts. I just headed over to install the plugin on some of my blogs as well.

  2. These are some very useful links you have provided. Tweeting old posts? That’s a new one. But quite good though.

I wish I could go through all the links right away, but very busy now, you know how it is. But sure I have bookmarked the page. I will visit it again.

  3. Thank you for the tweeting old content plugin. I’ve been looking for something like this for absolutely ages and think this is perfect.

This weekly blog post is fast becoming my favourite because it always has at least one thing of interest to me in it. :)

Those are some great links. I already knew about the Tweet Old Posts plugin from before. But I don’t need that now as I only have 10 posts at the moment.
Faking the Feedburner subscribers count is a very interesting one. Though it is not advised, but still a great read.
