Pyramid Schemes & Blog Posts Of The Week 16
Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi on June - 25 - 2010
As the month draws to an end, some bloggers await Google’s PR update with so much anticipation. Till date I still maintain my blog’s PR 3 and my home page’s PR1 BUT that is not to say that it couldn’t all vanish in a few weeks time
.
The week has been quite hectic with me having a dizzy spell while assisting in the suturing of a motorbike accident victim. I’m still wondering if it was just a random vagal response brought on by stress or not. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some proper rest this weekend.
My best blog post of the week is NaijaEcash’s What Is A Pyramid Scheme?. I’ve been wanting to write this post for quite some time but he finally did. Here’s wishing that some Nigerian Entrepreneurs and buyers as well would read and understand what kind of businesses represent Pyramid Schemes and do their best in avoiding them.
Andrew Rondeau, in writing The not-so-secret Diary of the Confessional Blogger, wants to know just how much is too much when revealing personal stuff about your daily activities. Some folks choose to go all the way but I prefer keeping the most private details of my life off my blog.
In the worLd of technology, the news around town is that Nokia Has Unveiled A Dual SIM Mobile – Nokia C2. I must say I ain’t too pleased because I hear it comes with only GPRS but then when it finally touches down in Nigeria, if the price is right, I’ll still get it
.
For all folks out there, who are fond of using WordPress’s automatic upgrade, BEWARE as many folks are running into memory issues due to the large size of the new version. Here’s How To Fix “Allowed Memory Size Exhausted” Errors with WordPress 3.0 Upgrade.
Enjoy the weekend ![]()

Thanks for the post of the week, I was actually at naijaecash and I made a reply to your comment, which in my opinion is relative to me (except I am mistaken), I am still trying to think it through, I would not want to lead people astray and would never want to soil my name, I believe in what I am doing and I really hope it would make be able to live my dreams, I will get back to you on this issue, thanks for the list of blogs
Believe me when I say that I’m sorry I never told you of my judgments. I just didn’t know how you would take it thus I decided to keep quiet to prevent a possible fallout with another blogger who’s been uber-dedicated to my blog. I hope I’m forgiven soon.
I am not offended, you have been a wonderful inspiration for me, I am still looking into Naijaecash post, though I made a reply there, I would be once more to really digest the post and see how it affect my business model, but I am still crazy about it, because it worked for me and I was hoping everybody would see it in my perspective, I total hate fraud and anything that has to do with scam and I would not want to soil my name, anyway I would get back to you, thank you very much for the support and help so far.
A side note, please you know I am a little bit new to this serious blogging thing, please I understand that Link above your name on this blog are pages but the ones under the name, what are they and if they pages, how come you can post at different times and they still look like you have arranged them, is my question a little be clear to you?
Thanks for setting my mind @ rest.
The links below my blog name are categories not post. I added them to highlight the main features of this blog.
Thanks, I am really grateful that I found your blog, thank you very much!
Thanks for the mention. I actually had to write that post (even though I’ve been pretty busy) cos so many folks are being swindled. As the economic depression gets worse, more and more folks are looking for ways of earning quick cash to meet up. Unfortunately, some dubious folks are catching in on that factor to swindle the gullible folks.
I visited Ewealths website, I’m yet to understand the scheme, so I will not conclude yet. However the fact that there is a product, the laptop, that has a value of its own points in the direction that it might be safe after all. Just that one need to understand fully the ‘modus operandi’ of the 15k laptop before jumping to conclusion.
I love your spirit. You’ll go places with that kind of frame of mind. Only those who have some skeletons in the cupboard gets overly angry when they are criticized or someone ask probing question about their business model.
I’ll try and read up your blog so that I can make a good conclusion of your business. Cheers.
