I was casually upgrading and tweaking a few things on my blog yesterday when my cursor moved over the SEOBOOK toolbar and “Page Rank 2” flashed across the screen. Yes folks. My blog has moved up one step in the page ranking system
To ensure this isn’t some software fluke, I’ve checked it over and over again using SEO Quake, Google Chrome’s Page Rank Checker, Google’s Toolbar and Page Boss.
I hope, Google has ACTUALLY updated the page rank of most sites and this ain’t a fluke on their part. I’m simply stunned that with little link building and in less than 7 months of blogging, I’ve been able to achieve page rank 2.
My gratitude goes out to all of you who have contributed in one way or the other by subscribing to my blog updates, linking to my posts, commenting, spreading the word via social bookmarking sites such as Twitter and Digg etc.
A big thanks also goes out to the wonderful make money online and blogging tips bloggers who also shared a wealth of knowledge with me via their blog posts thereby enabling me create fresh content for my blog too.
You all have been simply AMAZING.
Be sure to check out your blog’s rankings to see if you’ve been luckily upgraded.
Cheers.

Well done. It took me about the same, 7 months to achieve PR2. I'm told PR3 takes much more time and effort, so we'll see - I hope it comes soon for both of us!
@Ste: Best of luck too. I'm already planning on creating backlinks through quality articles on Squidoo, Hubpages & Today.com. Page rank 3 here we come. (By God's grace) LOL
Congratulations on achieving PR2. It just shows that hard work and dedication can pay off. More important than page rank is the amount of backlinks that you are building.
Wishing you Success!
Kim
@Kim: Thanks a lot.
. Wishing you the same in your endeavors. Using numbers as a domain name is a new one to me. How effective has it been for you?
Hello Udegbunam,
you are welcome. As for the number 167168, I bought the domain on ebay very much for sale, but liked it because it has been registered since 2002 and had a PR2 at the time. Of course that went away when I slacked off and did not develop it like I should have. It seems that it was a chinese directory site in the past. I am not sure how to brand in the future, but really just having fun with it now developing an affiliate marketing site.
Kim
@Kim: Who knows? Someday a company with your domain name might come up in the future and you'd sell off making huge profits.
Keep working the backlinks. I took your advice and I've started article marketing.Best of luck to you.
P.S: Sorry for the late reply. Passing through a blogger's lazy phase. LOL.
