PPC Classroom 2.0 Module 5: How To A High Converting Landing Page.
As was said in Module 3; Landing pages are better than Direct linking but you need the right landing page to break even.
Your goal with a landing page is to convert most of your traffic into sales. That's is get the prospective customer to take action and buy thereby increasing your affiliate commission.
The following tips are a MUST in the creation of high-converting landing pages.
- It must be relevant to what the user searched for. No example was given but I made up one.
Imagine searching for cheap domain names for $6.99 a year (this is a good example of long tail keyword) only to be lead to a landing page of domains for $20 a year. I hope you get the message. Give the customer what he/she's looking for. - It must be clear and understandable.
- The above fold which is the part of the web page that is first seen in a browser when it loads, must look like the image below

- Don't go crazy with colors in a bid to make things flashy and attractive. Stick to primary colors and non distracting images. Black text on white background is a classic and NEVER fails. It doesn't hurt the eyes at all!
- NEVER forget to talk about the benefits of the products to the customer. Don't confuse benefits with features. Benefits are the ways the product is going to improve the customer's life. Features are like 3.2 Megapixels, Zoom lens, 2GB storage etc when talking about cameras.
- The landing page must be trustworthy. You must include an Earnings Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Terms of Condition is possible. Also testimonials would help increase credibility on your products and increase you conversion rates. You can get free disclaimers from the folks at Priority Digital.

Great article , A good landing page helps a lot in getting more sales
Great advice.
I would also add "speed" as the landing page should load quickly. If it doesn't potential customers might be put off.
Also on the first point, the landing page should have relevant keywords with what was in the ad description and title to improve quality score and lower cpc.
