According to Amit Mehta, Google's Quality Score determines a lot in terms of whether you get traffic or not to your landing page.

Google Quality Score was introduced it because most search engine users were complaining bitterly about not finding good results for their search terms. Either the pages were of poor quality with little or no information or they all contained the same information as is seen in direct linking.

Your Google Quality Score depends on

• Your Ads and how relevant they are to your keywords.
• How often your ad is clicked: Click Through Rate.
• The contents of your landing page: Headline, Privacy policy, Earnings Disclaimer etc.
• Ads history: The longer you run an ad or campaign on Google, the better your Quality Score.

A high Google Quality Score gets you lower CPC (cost per click), which in turn leads to more traffic for less money and higher ads position.

NEVER forget that a bad landing page can get you slapped by Google. That is they can out rightly shut down your campaign.
