PatchworkOfTips Moves To Blogger Platform

Sometime last year I made the decision to create another blog with the intention of increasing my chances @ earning online via affiliate marketing and Google adsense. After almost 8 months of PatchworkOfTips been launched, I’ve finally come to accept the fact that it wasn’t such a good idea because

Updating and Promoting two blogs at the same time is really tedious and StrictlyOnlineBiz being my favorite of both, takes most of my time and dedication thus leaving PatchworkOfTips to suffer in such a way that for over 4 months, it hasn’t been updated.
Probably due to the poor updating schedule and poor promotion, search engine traffic to the blog has been minimal (60 weekly visitors MAX) and thus adsense earning till date from it has been ZERO!
Some Indian folks or guys with Indian IPs have turned the blog into their playground, with their spammy comments.
Updating the wordpress software and plug-ins and some other server side stuff have been tedious due to the heavy security measures placed on the server by the host, Web4Africa. I kinda got tired of meeting roadblocks each time I wanted to do stuff like modify my htaccess, upload files, chmod folders etc. I’m 100% sure that contacting the host would have solved the problems but I guess I was just used to been able to do all that without contacting anybody.

Thus I’ve made my choice to keep my domain name with Web4Africa but quit the server hosting and move over to the Blogger platform. That way, I can save myself some money with regards to the yearly hosting fee of N7,000 ($46).

As the blog is now hosted on the blogger platform, I really don’t have to worry about my investment not yielding results as I’m only paying $10 a year (Domain name only) to keep the blog alive.

Hopefully I’ll be back to creating content for the blog and making teeny weeny or huge returns on my $10 investment.

Finally, I just want to share some link luv with the following blogs for facilitating the many modifications, that the blog’s theme had to undergo
