Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Reviews On May 20, 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Sometime ago Ari Herzog of AriWriter promised to do a little review of some of his commentators blogs and I was one of the lucky few chosen. I had already forgotten about this until yesterday when I got a tweet from him, announcing the launch of 16 Video Critiques on Blog Content and Layout.

As you might have noticed, the review was based on content and layout and I most definitely learned something from this review with regards to my navigation bar thus I’ve got some "navigation bars revamping" in the works. ;-)

You can watch Ari’s review of StrictlyOnlineBiz below. Enjoy ;-)

Quick Note On Payoneer Billing Address Issues

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Debit Cards On May 17, 2010 1 COMMENT

This is going be another one of my "quickie" posts ;-) .

I’ve noticed that some folks are having issues when placing online orders with their Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard and I want to make something clear.

When you’re placing an order online and your billing address is requested, make sure you fill in the address under which your Payoneer MasterCard was issued.

For example, if you’re a Nigerian living in Nigeria and you ordered the card using your Nigerian home address, your Payoneer billing address automatically becomes your Nigerian home address. If you fill in anything other than this, your order might be declined depending on the security measures being used by the payment processor of the site in particular.

Please SPREAD THE WORD! Gracias.

NOTE: For those without  a clue of how to get a Payoneer MasterCard FREE OF CHARGE, you might want to read my posts; How To Order Payoneer MasterCard From LimeExchange and PayPal & Payoneer MasterCard Funding-Withdrawal Tips.

StrictlyOnlineBiz’s Top Blog Posts Of The Week 11

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Hot Posts On May 14, 2010 2 COMMENTS

Oh, it’s been quite a week. Thank God I made it through the rain. Okay I didn’t mean it to sound so dramatic :-D .

Last week Friday, the skin rash I didn’t take too serious, turned out to be the dreaded chicken pox! You needed to see how I, a doctor for that matter, was running around in search of a solution that I already had @ my finger tips. I was basically losing it because all I could see in the nearest future was a ferociously spotted ugly me. (Yep. I’m that vain ;-) )

Took 2 weeks off work to heal/recuperate and I guess the Lord answered my unsaid prayers as the rashes didn’t descend on me in their hundreds. At the moment, the rashes are healing quite nicely though the itch occurs occasionally. Hopefully I should be back to work next week Monday.

Modifications on my blog continued as my Google Adsense PIN finally arrived yesterday after almost 5 months. Phew! Now I can get back to earning some money online via Google Adsense. As you can see I’ve decided to leave it @ the top of the sidebar for now and monitor how the CTR fares at that location. Split testing they call it.

You might have noticed that the search bar has gone AWOL but not to worry, as a new JavaScript based search bar has been added below each and every post on this blog. Just scroll down to the end of this post and you’ll see one there. You can even try it out if you so please. This way visitors to my blog can make a quick search if the current post they are reading doesn’t  offer a solution to their search/problem. I LOVE IT ;-) .

In the mean time, the replacement keyboard for my laptop has finally arrived. Hopefully it will be put in before next week depending on when the repair guy finds time as he says. (Imagine having to pay for service and waiting until the service provider has time to attend to you. Such is our fate in this SAD country of mine, Nigeria)

Here are this week’s top blog posts. Enjoy fellas!

Nigerians It’s Time We Forget About Paid Online Surveys

Posted by MK Akan and Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Paid Online Surveys On May 12, 2010 4 COMMENTS

This post is a joint effort by MK Akan (90%) and StrictlyOnlineBiz (10%)

When the make money online buzz took off in Nigeria, paid online surveys was on everybody’s lips and spread like wildfire thus I wrote one of my top five most visited posts; The Top 10 Commandments Of Paid Online Surveys.

As time went by, I came to accept the fact, that it was kinda illegal for Nigerians to make money online via online surveys because most of these surveys were targeted @  mainly residents of the US, UK and Canada and were based on products that would be released to these countries.

Recently MK Akan who BTW wrote the wonderful post, Can Nigerians Really Make Money Online, left a comment here, that made me decide to take the plunge and write this post on why Nigerians living in Nigeria should just forget about earning online through surveys.

Below are 4 reasons why we’re now advising against online surveys for Nigerians.

StrictlyOnlineBiz’s Top Blog Posts Of The Week 10

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Hot Posts On May 7, 2010 11 COMMENTS

WOW! It’s been 2 months since the last edition of my top blog posts of the week and I really have to apologize to you guys for the break in transmission. lol. It so happens that immediately after I left camp, I had a wonderful welcome back post drafted only to lose it to a minor accident that went major.

As I was adding finishing touches to that blog post, I mistakenly spilled yoghurt on my laptop and the keyboard went berserk. All effort to salvage the damn thing left me with a partially functioning keyboard and 3 days later while fooling around, for a definite solution, my laptop crashed.

That crash led to the loss of 90% of all my precious data including my past and recent blog posts. Some of you might have noticed that for like 3 weeks, I’ve been recycling posts that had previously appeared @ my pet/defunct project, PatchworkOfTips. Well I had to do so in order not to break my posting schedule of every Monday, Wednesday and Friday due to the lack of a functional computer.

Anyway the posts weren’t gathering as much as attention as they are now, while they were @ PatchworkOfTips which I’m currently revamping again!
