Too Much Ado About GTB Naira MasterCard

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Debit Cards On June 28, 2010 17 COMMENTS

GTB Naira MasterCard

Of late most banks have started issuing chip and PIN enabled ATM cards in a bid to reduce the amount of ATM fraud which is scourging the nation @ the moment.

If I’m not wrong, EcoBank launched the first ever Naira Credit Card and now GTB has followed suit launching their Naira MasterCard.

GTB’s Naira MasterCard is now issued to every GTB customer both old and new, whether you want it or not. Supposedly the card can function worldwide and online wherever you see the MasterCard logo but before you rush to open an account with GTB because of this card, there are a few things you ought to know.

StrictlyOnlineBiz’s Top Blog Posts Of The Week 16

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Hot Posts On June 25, 2010 7 COMMENTS

As the month draws to an end, some bloggers await Google’s PR update with so much anticipation. Till date I still maintain my blog’s PR 3 and my home page’s PR1 BUT that is not to say that it couldn’t all vanish in a few weeks time ;-) .

The week has been quite hectic with me having a dizzy spell while assisting in the suturing of a motorbike accident victim. I’m still wondering if it was just a random vagal response brought on by stress or not. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some proper rest this weekend.

My best blog post of the week is NaijaEcash’s What Is A Pyramid Scheme?. I’ve been wanting to write this post for quite some time but he finally did. Here’s wishing that some Nigerian Entrepreneurs and buyers as well would read and understand what kind of businesses represent Pyramid Schemes and do their best in avoiding them.

Red Alert! Akismet Might Be Deleting Your Comments

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Wordpress Plug-ins On June 23, 2010 32 COMMENTS

Ever left a comment on a wordpress blog only for a blank page to appear when you did this? Well it could be a problem with the site’s owner comments.php or it could just be dear ol’ Akismet sending your comment to the spam folder or even worse DELETING YOUR COMMENT!

This has created quite a chaos online that I decided to shut down Akismet for a week and allow WP Spam Free to run alone but after 4 days, I had to reactivate Akismet because spam comments that generally never crossed Akismet, started to stream in.

Generally when you install Akismet, it comes pre-configured to automatically delete all spam comments on posts older than 1 month.

What I make of this is that, if a commentator leaves a comment on a blog post older than 30 days and Akismet mistakenly sees it as being spammy, this comment would be deleted @ once without passing through the spam folder for moderation :-( .

Here’s how to STOP Akismet from probably deleting spam comments on your blog

Making Blogs Faster With W3 Total Cache 0.9

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Wordpress Plug-ins On June 21, 2010 27 COMMENTS

Almost a month ago, I showed you guys a Step by Step Guide on How To Setup W3 Total Cache. W3 Total Cache 0.9 has been released and is a lot easier to configure. You don’t even have to hack into your .htaccess to enable stuff like browser caching anymore.

With some complaints about the last tutorial being heavy on images, I’ve decided to keep this based on text only.

Let’s begin ;-)

As graduation date approaches for NYSC Batch C corpers, my work @ the hospital has suddenly increased as well as I have to take up the "responsibilities" of the departing corps members. There’s a possibility that I’ll be spending less time online but hopefully my posting schedule won’t come to suffer.

I’m presently working on an update to the post: Make Your Blog 10x Faster With W3 Total Cache Plug-in. It includes some htaccess hacks such as gzip compression for servers with gzip disabled servers and browser caching.

Here are this week’s top blog posts ;-)

How To Sell A Blogger Blogspot Blog Without Hassles

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Make Money Online On June 16, 2010 12 COMMENTS

Folks who make money online via Flippa can testify that site flipping is one hell of a lucrative business if you know just how to go about it.

You can learn about site flipping and how to master it by reading the post, How To Make Money Online Flipping Websites/Blogs which features Michelle Adams’ QuikCash Converter free report.

Unfortunately this e-book doesn’t focus on selling free blogs such as those hosted on the blogger platform, which many have assumed cannot be sold. So without much ceremony, here’s how to sell a blogspot/blogger blog without much stress.

The Plenty Fishiness Surrounding Austin Azubuike

The Plenty Fishiness Surrounding Austin Azubuike

Disclaimer: Before I proceed, I’d like to make it known that the information contained here are TOTALLY my own views/suspicions and should not be viewed as 100% TRUE. These are just stuff I kinda noticed and would like clarified by Austin Azubuike though he’s averse to approving my comments on his blog.

For quite some time now, there has been rumors flying around that Austin Azubuike is one and the same person as Kenneth Ifeanyi though Austin has publicly admitted buying some of Kenneth’s properties. What I’m yet to establish is how much of Kenneth’s business did Austin actually buy ’cause of recent he stinks a lot of Kenneth Ifeanyi.

The following is an analysis of Austin’s recent Product Launch: “The Most Dangerous Money Making Secret Known In The Universe and How It Accidentally Pulled in N6million+ profit Between January 2010 till date” and it’s attached Free Report.

UPDATE: Austin Azubuike on the 23 of June 2010, shut down the above site and download link. Hmm! I wonder why ;-) . If you need the free report, just send an email to madtragicat2030@gmail.com. He has since decided to sell to just his subscribers as shown in this email.

Hopefully this would help us draw OUR OWN CONCLUSIONS as to who Austin Azubuike really is.

SINCE WHEN HAS AUSTIN AZUBUIKE REALLY BEEN ONLINE?

On both sales copy and free report, Austin claims that his first website, www.nigeria-creditcard.com, has been online for about 3 years now but the WHOIS data associated to that domain says otherwise. It has only been online for 1 year and 4months.

Hmmm! Maybe the WHOIS database has a bug ;-) .

Austin Azubuike Needs To Cut The Cr*p NOW!

Before you say it, I already know what you are possibly thinking.

"Not again! He’s "attacked" KodeSurveys, Facebook Naira and Utiware and Ecash Pro and now he’s taking on Austin Azubuike. When is he going to quit b**ching? Aaargh!"

Was I wrong? You let me know by leaving a comment below ;-) .

So where was I? Taking a quote from Austin’s Profit Rake Blog Offer sales page, I said Austin Azubuike needs to cut the cr*p now!

Internet Marketer Austin Azuibike’s mailing list is one of the mailing lists that I "MIRACULOSLY" subscribed to. I’d been following his emails without much attention until he started ranting in one of his emails on 20 May 2010. Funny enough this very email was turned into a blog post as well that same day.

Here’s his rant and my response to it.

$1 Web Hosting From WazoHost Nigeria

WazHost Nigeria Web Hosting

The Nigerian Webhosting scene has just gotten another addition to the market, by the name WazoHost Nigeria. The CEO contacted me about 2 weeks ago and asked if I was still entertaining free reviews. As a scheduled paid review had suddenly backed out on our deal, I decided to fill up the void with WazoHost.

NOTE: I no longer do free reviews on request. All request for reviews have to go through the Advertise page.

For $1 only, you can get their Nursery Hosting plan which looks like this:

StrictlyOnlineBiz’s Top Blog Posts Of The Week 14

Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi Under Hot Posts On June 11, 2010 6 COMMENTS

I’m so glad this week has finally come to an end as it’s been one hell of a rollercoaster. As the days go by, just the thought of stepping into the clinic gets me hot and bothered and by the time, I’m attending to patients and one of them starts to make my work a lil’ bit difficult, I kinda lash out.

I’m so used to being on my own when frustrated but what am I to do when I have to see patients during one of my major mood swings? Seriously I might have to sign up for anger management soon.

My laptop was such a major source of drama as the st*pid repair guy decided to take me for a ride again. It’s such a long story that I don’t even want to go through it ’cause it brings back memories of the hot verbal abuse that ensued.

I only somehow wish I had attended university here in Nigeria so I would be able to understand how people cope amidst so much frustration both from the disabled government and the corrupted part of the citizens.

So help me God. For real!

These are this weeks top six blog posts. Enjoy :-)
