NOTE: Should in case you are interested in getting a Payoneer Mastercard FREE OF CHARGE, do please follow the step by step guide @ How To Order Payoneer MasterCard From LimeExchange.

If you’re just joining in, this is the third installment on a series of post based on my experience of the Breakthrough seminar by Nigerian internet marketer, Henry Omenogor. The first two posts were Henry Omenogor’s Breakthrough Experience and Autoblogging, Blogging Farms and Copyrights Issues.
This installment focuses on the new rules of owning an illegal but verified PayPal premier account.
DISCLAIMER: StrictlyOnlineBiz is in no way affiliated to PayPal neither does it endorse the acquisition of PayPal accounts by Nigerians living in Nigeria. StrictlyOnlineBiz recognizes the illegality of resident Nigerians owning a PayPal account thus the information below is only offered as a means of getting people to stop wasting their hard earned money trying to get PayPal verification from some “guru”. Sorry I can offer support for this tutorial
I shall not go into much details with this post as it’s only an update of the past post, How To Get A Verified PayPal Account In Nigeria. So without further ceremony here are the new developments regarding this subject
PAYPAL VERIFICATION UPDATE FOR NIGERIANS
- You don’t need to change your Proxy/IP address to sign up for PayPal.
- Always make sure you access PayPal via https://www.paypal.com so as to make sure that you’ll be redirected to the real PayPal site as there are some fake PayPal sites around.
- Graphcard Virtual debit cards and virtual US address as well as Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard can’t be used to verify PayPal.
- Make sure you’re opening a Premier Account so you can receive credit card payments.
- Registering as a resident of a PayPal accepted African country no longer works. You have to register as a resident of U.A.E (United Arab Emirates) or India.
- You have to create a free account @ ShopVCC and then buy their Virtual PayPal Debit Card for $7.50. This card will enable you verify your PayPal Premier Account. NOTE: You need to have a LibertyReserve account in order to be able to buy the Virtual PayPal Debit Card from ShopVCC.
- You can open a LibertyReserve account for free then fund it @ the rate of N170=$1 through Instant Gold NG.
- After ordering, ShopVCC will send you (via email) the 16 digit number of your Virtual PayPal Visa Debit Card as well as it’s expiry date and CVV number.
- After filling in your debit card details @ PayPal, PayPal will request for the exact amount deducted from your card as well as the Expo(u)se PayPal code number attached to that transaction. Since you can’t check the statement of the Virtual PayPal Visa Debit Card, you’ll need to contact ShopVCC for the Expo(u)se code as well as the exact amount deducted from your card. As soon as you provide PayPal with this info, your account automatically becomes Verified.
- The Virtual PayPal Debit Card should never be used again after being used to verify PayPal.
- All transactions on PayPal right from the account opening process must be done from the same IP or you risk your account being frozen.
NOTE: PayPal ain’t stupid! You are better off working with some other payment processor or getting a trusted friend who resides in a PayPal accepted country to open and manage an account for you.
One false step and your account gets frozen with all your earnings as well!
YOU’VE BEEN WARNED! RESIDENT NIGERIANS STAY CLEAR OF PAYPAL

Udegbunam, I dont know why you share this tip in the first place, when you know it is very risky. Paypal is very wise, if you dont use proxy, they will know where your IP is located and if you use proxy, they have software to filter it. It better to do without paypal for now, I am sure they come to Nigeria one day and other Nigerians in UK are trying to come up with something to help webmaster and internet marketer in Nigeria, on how to received and send money online, I pray it is successful.
People are making serious money with this info and that’s why I decided to share it here. I know it’s wrong but hey it’s good for traffic and it helps a few naive folks.
Well u ve just made a great comment. When i opened my paypal account i was instructed to verify my account in 3 ways. One is purchasing their card, two adding my bank account and 3 is to verify my phone number. But cos i ve not done any of d above tasks, i decided not to fund d account yet.
I have a us paypal account but unverified and after reading udegbunam’s post this morning i tried to close d account and open another one with U.A.E or Indian address but while i tried closing my us account it became limited.
What do i do now should i abandon dat one and go ahead and open another account with Indian or U.A.E address.
I also discovered dat paypal premier account is not available for India or U.A.E customers, only personal account and business account are available. So which one of them best suit us that would ve prefared premier account. Best regards.
This was the post that lead me to your blog from Google, it will real generate lots of traffic as you said. I now understand your point, “the disclaimer”, “the note” and your serious warning on this issue.
It’s all about the traffic
. Glad you finally understood.
how do i get my cash as am about to do this ?
Do read http://www.strictlyonlinebiz.com/blog/nigerians-fund-withdraw-paypal-payoneer-mastercard/1111/ BUT proceed @ your own risk
kudos to d blog owner!plz how much does it cost to have an international passport?
Thanks man. Regarding an international passport, I can’t really remember now but it ain’t more than N9,000 though if you want it sharp sharp, you have to pay more as runs
ok,can they accept national id,or u have to provide all d three ie intrnl id,natnl id nd driver’s license
National ID is also acceptable. It’s either of the three though some websites might asked for two of them but it’s rare. By the way, this post is about Paypal. Wetin you wan carry International passport do for Paypal?

That’s where http://www.shopvcc.com/ comes into the picture. Do please remember that I don’t know jack about this whole paypal verification thingy. I’m just reporting what I learned at Henry’s seminar.
Hi Chuks..i found your blog to be very helpful to me and i’ll like to ask this one question; when filling out the paypal form as an Indian resident, what phone number am i to use? India i guess. Assuming i key in any Indian mobile phone number, are they going to call or send a verification pin to the number for confirmation?
You are supposed to use the phone number of the country from which you’re registering. As far as I know they don’t call or send a verification pin to the phone number you signed up with. If they do, that’s a new development.
hmm! na wa for this paypal account dose it mean there is no online job in 9ja? this paypal stuff are insane.
guys lets talk better on facebook @ Don Jcco or jccookoro35@yahoo.com
The Nigerian Spirit… It’s amazing the heights we go to achieve the seemingly impossible. I hail Nigerians and the “Never say die” attitude. I don’t have a paypal account and don’t plan to have one unless I permanently relocate or paypal lists Nigeria as one of the accepted countries. If I have to use a paypal account, I make use of my brother’s in the UK (accessed by him)… QED.
NB: The warning above is very important… Thanks.
hello,i’ve just read the issues on paypal.actually i was planning on opening one.pls,i’d like to know the risks involved and if opening paypal is impossible as a nigerian can visa money transfer do and if yes how do i go about it?
I’m not getting you. What does PayPal have to do with Visa money transfer? Opening PayPal as a Nigerian is impossible but claiming another country makes it possible BUT ILLEGAL.
Hello chukwudi!
I have being following your blog for quiet some time now secretly cuz u pose to pass on a lot of useful information. well to the point of the matter why am making this post, maybe you could offer some help and i will be very grateful to it.
I have a paypal account i opened illegally per say with a us address, i made about hundred dollars into and it was not verified.
Now i have just opened another paypal account with an Indian address and about to verify it with your steps and “hey” you have to change your ip to an indian ip before opening an account. I dont advice using naija ip. ok?
Anyways my problem is i need to get that $100 OUT of MY US paypal into my Indian paypal account which will be verified and much safer ‘but’ i have a limitation on my us paypal to verify my account before i can send money to another paypal by linking a us bank account or i get a paypal plus card.
I plan on getting a bank account to link to my us paypal account to raise the limitation so i can transfer my money to my indian paypal and spend it freely.
so please help me with any tip on how i can link a bank account to send the money to my india paypal.
I am ready to pay you for a real info. Thanks
Regards
Misan Morrison
Wish I could help but I don’t roll with PayPal that much and thus I’m the wrong person to go to with this issue of linking a bank account to send money to an Indian Paypal account
Hi. please i’ve been trying to sign up for a paypal account but the page on which i am supposed to input my home telephone nuber keeps saying that my home telephone number is incorrect. This invariably means that i am unable to sign up. I used the +23470……format for the mobile and also the +2348448…. for the standard landline format all to no success. Pls i would like you to help me out. You can help tell me what i did not do right,as soon as you possibly can. Thanks a lot in anticipation of your reply.
I think the problem is that the form recognizes the number as a Nigerian phone number and Nigerians are not allowed to own Paypal accounts

Thanks guys.but tel me is no other way i can my money from online biz?
I am still waiting for paypal in Nigeria, I hope they will allow us soon. Most of the people I sell service to only accept paypal…
please do you have a personal experience with shop vcc? has anyone one of you used their service? did they provide you with the credit card details cuz wen i tried using them they took my $7.5 and told me my order has failed without providing me with credit card details.
beware of them, just my personal experience with them.
Sorry to hear that man. That’s one of the reasons why I prefer physical debit cards. You can always get support from the bank that issued it.
@chukwudi
Thats a great information you given. There’s a similar and more insightful post at http://smallbusiness.com.ng/open-paypal-account-nigeria-nigerian.
Nice blog in between, Keep it up.
Your blog is showing 500 Internal Server Error
i got my paypal verified instantly from vccshopper.com
nice support
Thank you for the information. I believe that, with times, all these online opportunities that are not freely available to Nigeria will soon become the thing of the past. There are numerous innocent Nigerians that want to conduct business online with integrity.
May God give us good leaders in this country
hi,
i also got my paypal account created with my mtn fastlink, without changing any proxy stuff
kind of funny but what i observed was when creating the account paypal automatically selected singapore as my country, which i final used to complete the registration process.
Asap the verification i used the zenith Bank Bozy Visa Card and it worked for me.
Great blog post.
Is great that we have finally found out a way how any Nigerian will operate a paypal account right from Nigeria without getting it frozen, internet is fun.
Thanks for this useful post, I wonder if I open a paypal verified account in this way, will I be able to receive money to my paypal account?
Disqus generic email templateYes you should be able to receive money
This may sound slightly nuts, but on a whim one afternoon, while I was bored browsing the internet, I decided to head over to paypal and check them out, cuz of all the hullabaloo about opening a paypal Acc in Nigeria.
I changed my IP in my browser to a US proxy and went to their site.
They detected my country as US and I found a fake US address using google and opened an Acc with it.
My Acc was of course unverified, but they said I could receive funds with it and withdraw from it. The only limitation was that I could not send funds with it.
Everything seems fine and solid so long as I log in with the same US IP.
Am I missing something here?
P.S. I am NOT opening an account for anybody or advertising anything, please OOO!
Everything seems fine noe until when you have accumulated quite an amount in your account and then they’ll strike and claim you forged IP and thus freeze your account.
Those guys are sneaky as hell.
Beware
