Freelance writing is a good idea, I’ve been doing it properly since January and have been relatively happy with the results. The only downside is that I have to compete with a lot of people who are so desperate to make money they are willing to work for peanuts.
I’m considered expensive because I charge more than $5 for an article.
I tried getting into Elance but the requirements were just too stringent and I quit along the way. Competition is most definitely fierce and I experienced that when I tried Fiverr. So many folks are willing to over -deliver just for $5.

Freelance writing service is what i would do myself if i wanted to enter into a business like this.You could even grow it into a PLR service.
I’ve also thought of reselling web hosting but can handle the back ends of the business. For those who’s got the skill and commitment, it’s a good business model.

I think that freelance writing can give you huge income monthly. A lot of online businesses need articles written for them for promotion, etc. I’ve known people who have passion for writing but are not trying to step to online world and make income out of it.
