Letter To My Most Respected RSS Subscribers

As some of you might have figured out already, my name is Udegbunam Chukwudi Emmanuel. I’m a 27 year old Nigerian and I run the one-man show here @ StrictlyOnlineBiz.com.

In the last couple of months, I’ve seen a mild rise and fall in the amount of rss subscribers to my blog following the publishing of certain posts. After careful analysis, I’ve come to the conclusion, that this unusual trend is brought on by the posts sometimes targeted specifically @ Nigerians such as MasterCard WebSurfer & Graphcard, SOB’s Top 5 Nigerian Owned Web Hosting Firms & The Top 10 Commandments Of Paid Online Surveys amongst others.

I just wanted to alert you all, that in the coming months, I’ll be writing quite a number of posts with regards to the issues Nigerians face when trying to make a living online.

This posts will range from reviews of services offered by Nigerian “gurus” to make money online scams paraded by Nigerian “gurus”. This is something I’ve always wanted to do in a very long time and I pray I don’t make any “guru” enemies in the process as Grizzly Bear has with his reviews. LOL

Do feel free to hit the DELETE button each time you get one of such posts in your email BUT if you’ve got the time, just dedicate a few minutes to reading these posts as you NEVER know what you might learn from them.

Do have a nice week ahead.

  1. Udegbunam, I think you are doing an amazing job here with this site, I admire you for your tenacity, – I mean, you said on my blog that you don’t even have internet access at home, but have to go to an internet cafe and do all the work on this blog! This is something I could not imagine, but I guess things are very different for you all in Nigeria. I will keep stopping by and see what you have been up to! Thanks for taking the time to read my blog :)

    • @Petra: In the begining it was quite challenging but as I grew to become a pro at googling, it became quite easy. I’ve got the best offline tools to help me out such as Wampserver, Windows Live Writer, RSS readers, Opera 10, etc. They make the work as easy as copy and paste. You know what? I’ve just got a great idea for a blog post. “How To Blog Efficiently @ a Cybercafe”. I’ll have to work on the title to make it more captivating.
      Thanks for the inspiration.

  2. @Udegbunam, I think you just had an awesome idea, because I think there are many people out there who might not have internet access at home, and with a blog post about that you could have a winner!
BTW, do you have a nickname? ;)

    • @Petra: A nickname? Hmm. I don’t think so. I basically use striclyonlinebiz but I haven’t got around to claiming a nickname. Amongst my friends, I’ve got like 5 nicknames but online, none whatsoever.
