In my last post, I blogged about creating comments and backlinks friendly blogs. Well I forgot to add this amazing plug-in to that list.
I know how frustrating it could be for some of you to see comments from CPA Marketing, Blogging Tips or Make Money Online on your blog posts. Whatever happened to leaving your real name on the comments?
I guess most guys in a bid to increase their Google ranking for the specified keywords, use keywords instead of names when commenting especially on NoFollow free blogs.
I must confess that I’m guilty of that as well
Some bloggers aren’t comfortable having comments with keyword names on their posts and most times in annoyance they delete these comments.
Well, I just discovered another plug-in that can make users leave their names and keywords at the same time, making it a pleasurable experience for both. The commentator gets to have his keyword hyperlinked and the blog owner gets to have more comments on his posts.
I’m talking about Keyword Luv which was built by Stephen Cronin.
What this plug-in does is simple. My name is “Chukwudi” and the related keyword to my blog is “CPA Marketing” . Instead of typing “CPA Marketing” as my name, I’ll type in “Chukwudi@CPA Marketing” in the Name field of the comment form.
After posting my comment, my name will appear like this:
Chukwudi from CPA Marketing on 31 March 2009 at 3.43pm says:
Go get the plug-in now and show you commentators some Keyword Luv. Also feel free to try it out by commenting on this post. Also for this plug-in to be beneficial to your commentators, your blog MUST be NoFollow Free.

@Curtis: The right way to use Keywordluv is name@keyword in the name field. Example brian@cpa marketing becomes brian from cpa marketing when the comment has been approved and shows up beneath the post in the comment area.
@Tejaswini: So far so good I know it only works on wordpress blogs. My blog is a self hosted wordpress.

Good idea also including the CAPTCHA code too. This will help balance out and keep out comment spammers.
Its also very generous to use both KeywordLuv and CommentLuv. I generally find that blogs only use 1 not both.

Either way its a nice way to give anchor text in the backlink but keeping the name field clean.

@Tim: Both plugins function in different ways. Commentluv leaves a link to the commentator's last blog post while Keywordluv allows the commentator to use his keywords @ the same leaving his real name.
But then again, I really don't see the use of both of them if the blog is a no follow. Mine is a do follow blog.

I think the thing that really reward commenter is do follow. Keywordluv just reduce likelihood of being spammer.
How do you handle all the comment moderation when you have do-follow enabled? I would go crazy if I were you!
This tool is fantastic - a great way to show repsect to your readers and to encourage a bit of debate…sometimes people need a bit of a push/incentive to do so! I’m sure you’ll have seen traffic increase significantly though as a result, at least I hope so!

@ Admin London Escorts: There's been an increase in traffic using the plug-in but most of the google traffic come from people searching for "this site uses keywordluv. enter yourname@yourkeywords". Felt bad when I noticed this but at least some of those who found my site using this method have been leaving good comments. At the moment, I'll be removing commentluv to reduce the loading time of my blog. At least my commentators can still use Keyword love to get dofollow backlinks to their sites.
I've contemplated removing this search phrase from my comment form but then I might lose out on traffic that could translate to more google adsense money.;)

Awesome plugin. This will really help drive traffic to my site! I just hope that spammers would be considerate enough to not abuse this wonderful plugin, because it takes precious time to delete their comments manually.

@Vicky: It doesn't really stop spam. It even generates a lot of it. Make sure you have Aksimet and a captcha plugin installed as well or else!
