I just did it cos of the duplicate content thing but then I realised that most blogs without the more tag then to have higher loading times than those with the more tag as the main page loads complete posts whic may sometime be irrelevant to what the reader is looking for. With the more tag, I just browse through a blog's front page and choose the one I want to read. I'm totally with you that readers are forced to go into your site creating the chance that they read more posts.@ Rob: So far so good all I've heard is that they can move your blog posts to the bottome of search engine rankings and they can also reduce your page rank.
