Help! What Makes An Excellent Blog Setup Service?
Posted by Udegbunam Chukwudi on July - 11 - 2010
I need the help you of you my readers.
I’ve noticed that there is a surge of people interested in blogging but who don’t want anything to do with the setup process. They’d rather worry about publishing posts than configuring WordPress thus I’ve decided to start a blog setup service.
Being a sucker for quality service, I’m @ loss with regards to what constitutes a great blog setup service. I need you to help me with things you feel I should include in my blog setup service when it finally goes live.
At the moment I’ve got the following locked down:
- Web Hosting and Domain Name Setup
- WordPress Installation
- Essential WordPress Plug-ins and their respective configurations
I need more ideas. Your contributions are great appreciated. Thanks a million ![]()

I would say you could have SEO and an initial backlinks push as part of an addon for your service. I think that would do well.
That would probably increase the cost of the service. BTW what exactly does SEO entail? Building backlinks for them is definitely going to cost extra ’cause I’m even looking for time to build my own backlinks
.
Blog setup service, that would certainly make you begin to do stuff, you would not even imagine, I am also trying to figure out my own blog setup, but would you be adding any article writing to the setup and to add something to your generousity to me, I have a reseller hosting account, I would willing to give you free hosting for all your customers/client free for the first month, please consider my comment as a gift, I would waiting to hear from you!
Thanks for the offer man. I really appreciate that BUT I’ll be launching the blog setup services using Hostgator, Web4Africa and Syskay. I really don’t know how to explain this so check out this page where I got the idea from WP Beginner Free WordPress Setup.
Thanks for declining my offer, I am a reseller under syskay, those guys are the real, customer response is definitely superb, I ask a lot of question you know but they never get tired of answering my numerous questions, that is just what I am trying to give back, I actually I decided to get the reseller account because I want to start flipping blogs, just want to create more sources of income and I though give out some part of it for you blog setup service would not hurt my plans, it might actually boost it, when you develop a blog and it hosted by me, I am sure the client would love it and may just continue to use my service as the webhost, that was my plan!
But thanks anyway, my offer to you are still open…
I hope I didn’t offend you by declining your offer? I’ve always had this rule to only “push” products I’ve used and experienced first hand. All you say about Syskay is true as I recently registered a website for my roommate with them.
Reselling webhosting is a very risky niche. It comes VERY easy when you outrightly state in your TOS that you don’t offer support for third party applications like those that come packaged in Fantastico Deluxe.
Most consumer complains would arise from he use of third party apps and if you ain’t so verse in the way they work, s**t could happen
Flipping blogs and websites is kinda HOT @ the moment and I wish you the best with that
.
Thanks for the reply, no offense man, you are only be true to yourself, and thanks for the added info, it just shows who you already are, I am so grateful I saw your blog when I did, thanks!
