Web Resources: FTP Softwares

Once you’re done designing your websites, you will definitely need to upload your files to your web host’s server. There are so many FTP softwares out there but I only recommend the use of Filezilla

Filezilla Rocks!

This open-source freeware has been around for quite some time now and is the favorite of many web hosts. Improvements are regularly made and it’s proven to be even better than some paid ftp softwares. It’s fast and reliable.

Another ftp software that was once free but has gone the paid way is Smart FTP.

Smart FTP

This software is only different in that it allows for Transfer Integrity on servers supporting (XCRC, XMD5, XSHA). This way you’d know that all files transferred to your server are intact and not broken.

In my opinion, again, I haven’t had any transfer integrity problem with Filezilla so I suggest you stick with it. Remember. KEEP YOUR EXPENSES TO THE BAREST MINIMUM POSSIBLE WITHOUT SACRIFICING QUALITY WHEN STARTING ANY BUSINESS!
