Make Your Feed Subscribers Get You More Traffic

It’s DEFINITELY NOT enough to have a 120,000 subscribers to your blog’s feed and have them read your posts without taking any action. Here’s one simple way of getting them to generate more traffic for you.

Get them to take action by including social bookmarking options in the footer of your feeds.

Personally I use Satollo’s Feed Layout to get the job done.

I’ve simply copied and pasted the code for my blog’s bookmarking options into the plug-in’s setup page and viola! My Rss subscribers now have a way of easily tweeting, bookmarking or emailing my posts without hassle.

Below is the exact code I use @ Patchwork Of Tips.

  1. I’m not sure I have it in my RSS feed I know I do on my individual posts via a WP plugin. I’m going to check with my web guy. Thanks for the tip!

  2. Dylan says:

Nice tip thanks. I wonder if one can do the same with, say, a blogger RSS feed

    • I’m not so sure about that. I’ll look around and let you know. Thanks for stopping by.

      • Dylan, if you burn your feed with Feedburner, log into your feedburner account, click on Optimize then in the left hand sidebar, click on FeedFlare and select the options you want for your blog. Best of luck!
