I’ve come to note a few discrepancies in this sales letter.
- Professor James Sherow of University of Colorado, in U.S.A: Scammers are fond of name dropping to hype their products. If this professor really developed this product, his name should be everywhere on the news including the almighty search engine, Google, but it isn’t. Instead a Google search for his name reveals that he’s an associate professor of environmental history @ the Kansas State University and that he earned his bachelor and master of arts degrees from Wichita State University in 1976 and 1978 and his doctorate degree from the University of Colorado in 1987. Check out the info @ K-State Media Guide Bio Index. I’m still looking for the connection between him and the E-cash Pro.
- No Website: Any internet marketer peddling a product as expensive as this MUST have a website. The only reason behind his not running this on a website is the fact that he could be detected by the EFCC.

The first paragraph in the letter about politicians using it to fund their electoral campaigns is an obvious lie.
It felt as though this guy summed all Nigerians to be fools. The guy’s email sales copy keeps landing in my inbox despite having reported it as spam many times.
Haha dude, who is he fooling? The writing is SO horrendously bad. Does he really expect to trick anyone with such terrible copy?
And about where he got your email address…well, the same place where most Nigerian scammers harvest email addresses from, I guess. I’m not sure how some of these end up in my corporate email which I don’t even use for anything except inter- and intra-company stuff.
@Darren: LOL. I guess the bait is the greed of folks looking to make millions in 1 week. That’s why the sales copy is badly written.
Nicely detailed scam report. These guys are irritating, and the bad thing is that you can’t even click on the unsubscribe link, if there was one, because it only confirms your email address. I hate these guys!

Count me among those who appreciate the detailed research and dissection of this scam. Though it’s a pretty obvious one, there are people out there (obviously) who fall for this kind of nonsense. I used to figure those fools had to be stupid or greedy or both, but in today’s economy, I’m willing to concede they may just be desperate and hopelessly naive.
