ATTENTION ALL .COM AND .NET DOMAIN OWNERS!

VeriSign, the registry in charge of .com and .net domain names will be issuing a price increase for domain registrations and renewals. .com domain prices will increase by 7% and .net domain prices by 10%. This literally means that .com domain names will now go for a minimum of $10.70 while .net domains will be pegged @ $11.

This price hike will take effect as from July 1, 2010

Netfirms is offering it’s existing customers savings of  $1/year on renewals before May 31, 2010 using coupon code RENEWNOW.
