Unlike on Facebook, keeping track of my twitter conversations has never been easy not to talk of tracking my retweets. If you were sending any message my way other than a direct message, you were sure to NEVER receive a reply from me or receive a late reply.
The above happened cos I wasn’t receiving notifications of the messages except for the direct messages of course. Recently I discovered Tweety Mail and life on Twitterland has been much sweeter 
.
For months I wondered why my blog posts weren’t getting retweeted cos each time, I checked the ReTweeted section of my twitter account, it was always blank.
Well it so happens that my retweet link and buttons weren’t well configured for twitter to track my retweets and so I made the changes that had to be made thanks to the Mashable’s Ben Parr article: HOW TO: Retweet on Twitter.
Traffic is important to blogging and most blogs at some point in time enjoy a huge traffic surge from social bookmarking sites such as Digg, Delicious and StumbleUpon.
The downside is that for new bloggers, it’s always difficult to get this social bookmarking traffic in the first few months and this is where Twitter comes in to the rescue.
