Since I started building my email list, I’ve been reading up a lot of articles on how not piss my subscribers off and how to do it the right way. 21 year old Michael Dunlop’s 6 Easy Steps To Outstanding Email List Building has been such an inspiration and I highly recommend it to everyone looking to build a list soon .

The whole Adsense Smart Pricing thingy has been around for years now and that’s what promoted the post How To Show Adsense To Search Engine Visitors Using JavaScript. The folks @ Google recently released a YouTube video to explain it all in their own words. You can watch the video below.

The earnings per click is dependant on the possibility that whosoever is clicking on the ad is going to do exactly what the advertiser wants them to do when they land on the site. This is possibly why 95% of my adsense earnings comes from posts about getting credit/debit cards and buying web hosting.

To my fellow Nigerian bloggers who have gradually started to display my content on their blogs without my permission, I just want to let you all know that it ain’t cool @ all. It’s one thing to craft your page/post using mine as a guideline but scraping the entire page/post is an entirely different thing and just looks mean to me .

SCAM ALERT: Two days ago, one of my Facebook Fans left a wall post that turned out to be a scam that has probably been around for long. I’m talking about Work At Home Mom Makes $8,795/Month Part-Time.

The site is a total sham and if you take time to look at the site well, you’ll notice that all links on that page point to the signup page for the product on offer.

As always I took the liberty of googling and I found Paul’s review/warning :NewsDaily7.com review and analysis. To all of you I say BEWARE!

The Nigerian telecommunication industry is undergoing some serious transformation with Etisalat being the first to offer call rates as low as N15/minute to ANY NETWORK! Nigeria’s own Globacom has followed suit and launched GLO INFINITO which also offers calls to any network @ 25K/sec (N15/minute) too . For the time being, GLO INFINITO is limited to the following states/parts of Nigeria : Kebbi, Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Jigawa, Kaduna, Taraba, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Gombe, Bauchi, Plateau,Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi and Abia states. It’s been a fabulous week as I decided not to blog this week so as to see if I would feel less tired and cranky and it worked . Apparently I was thinking about this blogging of a thing too much that it started affecting me health wise. (coming up with post ideas can generate quite a deal of stress sometimes)

I’ve made up my mind that I’ll be blogging on alternate weeks ONLY! That is if I blog this week, I will rest the upcoming week. This way I maintain my sanity while still enjoying the art of blogging .

In the entertainment world, the MTV Video Music Awards took place on Sunday and Mother Monster stole the show with 8 wins including the highly coveted Video Of The Year award for one of my favorite videos of all times Bad Romance.

She seemed to be on her best behavior on the white carpet as she paid tribute to the Legendary Alexander McQueen in one of the late designer’s stylish creations before going "crazy" on us (as usual) with her Meat Dress .

It felt kinda refreshing not to have Beyonce clean house again as she frequently does.

Blog Setup Business Meeting & Blog Post Of The Week 23

Over the weekend, I had a lil’ business meeting with one of Nigeria’s young entrepreneur, Ahmad Mukoshy about the possibility of a collaboration between EzBlogSetup and Aimtech Nigeria Hosting. The meeting ended on a good note with the terms that EzBlogSetup’s services will be included to Aimtech Nigeria’s shopping cart as an add-on service @ a discount of 25%.

What this means is that folks ordering hosting from Aimtech Nigeria have the option of hiring the services of EzBlogSetup for 25% less than the normal selling price of $30 (N4,000).

NOTE: The Aimtech Nigeria Hosting + EzBlogSetup offer is open to Nigerians ONLY for now!

In the mean time, EzBlogSetup was given a facelift design wise and is now open to International customers as well, thus the reason why the ad banners around the net now are showing the dollar value of the service which is $30 .

When I launched StrictlyOnlineBiz back in February 2009, I signed up for a 2CheckOut merchant account for a one time fee of $49 but I never got to use it as I wasn’t successful in coming up with a proper product to sell. By default, 2CheckOut only allows one URL per account and any change to the URL costs $19.
